Between the months of June to August and November to December truffle mature underground in the estates woods of Montefiesole, sending out a distinct aroma. With a local guide and a truffle hunting dog who detects this aroma, it is possible to participate in this unusual event of truffle hunting.
This activity starts off with a warm welcome with an introduction to explain the growth of this unsual tuber. It is not only designed for culinay lovers, but an exciting way of getting in touch with the Tuscan nature.
You’ll join an expert guide and a truffle-hunting dog specially trained to sniff out the tubers prized for their delicate aroma and taste.
Ather the hunt you will enjoy lunch or dinner based on truffle, including fresh pasta, a main course and even desert with truffle!

The dogs were cute and very well-behaved. We were lucky and found a lot of truffles. The explanations were also very interesting, so we learned much about the vegetation & nature.
At the dinner all courses were with truffle and tasted very delicous.
