Between the months of June to November truffle mature underground in the estates woods of Montefiesole, sending out a distinct aroma. With a local guide and a truffle hunting dog who detects this aroma, it is possible to participate in this unusual event of truffle hunting.
This activity starts off with a warm welcome with an introduction to explain the growth of this unsual tuber. It is not only designed for culinay lovers, but an exciting way of getting in touch with the Tuscan nature.You’ll join an expert guide and a truffle-hunting dog specially trained to sniff out the tubers prized for their delicate aroma and taste.
Ather the hunt, you will enjoy the truffles that you found with a cooking class with our chef. The lunch will be all truffle based from fresh pasta with grated truffle, a main course with truffle and even desert with truffle! All this is accompanied with the farms organic wines.
